Y: Survive! in Prague

Jatun Risba will be coming to Prague for a short art residence in order to produce and premiere a new work - The Intimacy of Otherness - at the Y: Survive! event on the 27th of November. The work will be shaped as a transmedia performance lecture about Risba's lived experience of radical self-healing from Multiple Sclerosis (2012-19). Jatun will share their story while laying in stillness on a suspended tree trunk. By re-enacting indoor, for the very first time, their remarkable performance "Be-coming Tree" (2020-21), the artist will embody and unveil some of the qualities that need to be acquired in order to turn the seemingly "impossible" (healing etc.) into an “I'm possible” reality.
