Ecoart start of 2024 with 2 AiRs in Ireland

Jatun Risba has began the year with an AiR at Instant Dissidence, Rita Marcalo's Ireland-based Dance & Live Art company and a 3-day long slow travel to Ireland that will culminate in the performance "SlowMo: Cloughjordan" done in co. with the second artist in residence: Clara Grosjean. The performance will be presented on Saturday 13th, 7pm and 8pm, at the Middle Country Cafe & Crafts in Cloughjordan. The rest of the AiR will be used for an independent art research on Live Art & Ecological Practice. Jatun will offer a workshop on this topic to the local community on Thursday 25th January 2024, 17:00-19:00.

After the AiR at Instant Dissidence, Jatun will continue their stay in Tipperary at LAI - Live Art Ireland for another art residency, together with the Be-coming Tree facilitators Danièle Minns and O. Pen Be. After two Poetics of Relation Live Art nights with film screenings (find the details below), on Sunday 4th of February 2024 there will be a Be-coming Tree workshop followed by the first in-person collective Be-coming Tree performance with selected international artists who applied to the Open Call. The performance is FREE to attend. People are invited to
make rainforest tree planting donations to TreeSisters charity.
