Be-coming Tree at Prague Biennale

The Be-coming Tree project is featuring at the Prague Biennale 2023 on the topic "Virtual Body of Society" with 2 videos: of the first individual Be-coming Tree performance by Jatun Risba in April 2020 and of the 4th Global Be-coming Tree Live Art event in April 2021 - facilitated by Jatun Risba, Daniele Minns and O. Pen Be - with 3 collective performances with the following artists:

GROUP 1 COLLECTIVE PERFORMANCE
With performances by and from: Ali Masoudi (IR), Andrea Isa (DE), Bert Barten aka Talking Trees (NL), Ursula Troche (ENG), Dimple B Shah (IN), Elizabeth Damour (FR), Janaína Moraes (NZ), Jasmine Cederqvist (SE), Kajoli llojak (ENG), Katarina Kadijevic (CZ), O. Pen Be (ENG), TJ Thorne (ENG).

GROUP 2 COLLECTIVE PERFORMANCE
With performances by and from: Bert Barten aka Talking Trees (NL), Caroline Gregory (ENG), Gina Ben David (IL), Jane Corbett (ENG), Lauren Lewis (WHL), Lucy Stockton Smith (ENG), Maria Bitka (PL), Monika Tobel (ENG), Peter Purg (SLO), Surya Tüchler (DK).

GROUP 3 COLLECTIVE PERFORMANCE
With performances by and from: Andile Hamilton + Nhlanhla Dhlamini aka For Art to be Art it has to Cure (ZA), Annette Arlander (FI), Bert Barten aka Talking Trees (NL), L4R (IT), Colectivo EnHebra (CH), Daisy Black (ENG), MJ Newell + Deej Fabyc (IE), Lara Buffard (GR), Lisa Lotte Giebel (DE), Lisa Maxwell Cochran (USA), Lisa Sang (ENG), Lujane Pagganwala (PK), Miranda Whall (WLS), Veronica Cordova de la Rosa (ENG).

The 2 videos are included in the Biennale's exhibition "Tree, man, animal, machine. About hybrid communities." at the Gallery of the Prague Creative Center.

In addition to that, there will be also a streamed artist talk about the Be-coming Tree project with Jatun Risba, Dan Minns and O. Pen Be, scheduled on Sunday 23rd of July evening.
